How This Site Makes Money
A site that autopsies income claims owes you its own income statement. Here it is.
Current revenue: $0
As of July 2026, this site makes no money. No ads, no affiliate links, no sponsorships, no products. The only thing we ask for is your email address, and the only thing we send to it is the next autopsy.
We are telling you this now, before there is anything to disclose, because the order matters. Every operation we examine on this site discloses its incentives after you ask — usually well after. We would rather publish the incentive structure before it exists, so you can check our later behavior against it.
The plan, in the order it will happen
1. Email list — now. “Get the next autopsy” is the only call to action on this site. A reader list is the one asset that does not depend on a platform’s algorithm, and it costs you nothing but an address you can unsubscribe in one click. This is the entire current business model.
2. Display ads — later, at threshold. When traffic reaches an ad network’s entry gate, we expect to run display advertising. For reference, the lowest current gate is Mediavine’s Journey tier at 1,000 sessions in 30 days (accessed July 2026). When ads go live, this page will state which network, from what date. Ads pay per reader, not per claim — which is the point. Nothing about a display ad requires us to tell you passive income works.
3. Never: courses, coaching, or income products. We will not sell a course. We will not sell coaching, a paid community, a “method,” or anything whose pitch is that it will make you money. We will not take affiliate commissions on any product or opportunity this site examines. This is a structural commitment, not a mood: the moment a debunking site sells a money-making method, it becomes its own next autopsy.
Our own receipts
We run our own automation experiments — including a print-on-demand store of the kind examined in Autopsy #004. Starting with its first full month, we will publish that operation’s profit-and-loss on this site monthly: revenue, fees, costs, hours spent. Including the months it loses money, which — if our own autopsies are right — will be most of them at the start.
This is both a disclosure and a dataset. Disclosure, because we analyze an industry we also operate in, and you should know that when you read Autopsy #004. Dataset, because a published, dated, continuous P&L from a real store is exactly the kind of evidence this niche almost never produces — the screenshots you see elsewhere are the wins, cropped. Ours will be the whole ledger, uncropped, on a schedule we cannot quietly skip.
If our numbers ever contradict our verdicts, the numbers stay up and the verdicts get rewritten. That is the deal.
Who operates this site
Passive Income Autopsy is operated by Kindl Dávid e.v., a registered sole proprietorship in Hungary. Full legal details are on the imprint page. Articles are published under the site byline — the operator is identified here and in the imprint, which is the disclosure that matters. Our editorial process, including how and where AI tools are used in producing this site, is documented in the editorial policy.
When this page changes
Any change to how this site makes money — the first ad, the first sponsorship offer we accept or decline, anything — gets recorded here with a date. The version history of this page is part of the product.
